CuhDeeJah "Blue Racks" Single | @CuhDeeJah ft Blueface
CuhDeeJah being a young artist and a mother, there is no losing. "IT CAN BE DONE" is the young superstars' motto. Successful careers and motherhood do go hand in hand. In CuhDeeJah's eyes, being a mother is number one, which means getting that "Blue Racks" by any means necessary. CuhDeeJah believes that once all the bias against women is dismantled, the playing field becomes level, and women can assume a free and equal place in society by simply cloning the male competitive model. CuhDeeJah looks forward to where this new direction will take her.
"This song is special to me because everything I’m saying is a reflection of my life right now. I came up with specifically blue racks because if I’m getting money, I want the whole rack full of new hundreds. This song gives real LA girl vibes, and that’s me!" - Cuhdeejah

Lenny Williams "Weekend Blues" Single | @LennyWilliams
Click Here to Stream/Add to Spotify Playlist
The ultimate soul crooner, Oakland, California native Lenny Williams possesses one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary music. With his rich, passionate vocal style, he is rightfully regarded as one of R & B’s most influential soul men. Williams began his musical career making records that have subsequently become R & B and Pop classics, tunes like the mega-hit “Cause I Love You” (recorded on his solo album) and “So Very Hard To Go,” which he recorded as the lead singer for Tower of Power. Lenny Williams' style has transcended into the new millennium, influencing many of today’s newest R & B and Pop vocalists.
Lenny himself sounds better than ever as he continues to keep the focus on love. “Love is what has gotten me through all of these years. I look for love and I surround myself with it,” Lenny says. When it comes to singing love songs, one must “go there to know there,” and Lenny never left. He is able to take the listener to the heart of love with such soulful aplomb because love will never go out of style and no one does it better. Then...Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, Lenny moved to Oakland at a very young age. Learning to play the trumpet in elementary school fueled his interest in music. Lenny’s skills as a vocalist were first nurtured by singing in gospel choirs and groups around the Bay Area, where he was in good company, working alongside up-and-coming artist Sly Stone, Andre Crouch, Billy Preston and members of the Hawkins family--Edwin, Walter and Tramaine. After winning several local talent contests, Williams signed his first record deal with Fantasy Records. He cut two singles for the label, including “Lisa’s Gone,” now regarded as an R & B classic among British soul music lovers, and “Feelin Blue,” written by John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival. Lenny then spent a brief time with Atlantic Records, before deciding to put his solo career on hold in 1972, when he joined the emerging funk band Tower of Power. A string of hits ensued, including “So Very Hard To Go,” and “Don’t Change Horses (In The Middle of The Stream),” written by Lenny Williams and Johnny “Guitar” Watson. During his two years with the group, Lenny participated in three milestone albums, the Gold LP Tower Of Power, Back To Oakland, and Urban Renewal, while touring non-stop throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. At the end of 1975, Lenny returned to his solo projects. Initially signing with Motown in 1972, he later moved to ABC Records in 1977 (which was then purchased by MCA Records in 1979). Over the next four years, Lenny scored ten charted hits, including “Shoo Doo Fu Fu Ooh,”, “Choosing You,” “You Got Me Running,” “Love Hurt Me Love Healed Me,” and “Midnight Girl.” Lenny recorded four more albums from 1977 to 1980-- Choosing You, his first gold LP, Spark of Love, Love Current, and Let’s Do It Today. These albums established a solid and loyal following for Lenny, and the impact of his music can still be felt, particularly the mega-hit “Cause I Love You”, from Spark Of Love. This song crosses generational boundaries, and has frequently been used on “old school” and “slow jam” compilations throughout the years. In 1986, Lenny was invited to sing vocals on “Don’t Make Me Wait For Love,” a track from superstar sax man Kenny G’s multimillion selling album Duo Tones. When released as a single in 1987, the song became a Top 20 Pop and R & B hit. Now...Over the past few years, Lenny has continued his solo career, touring the US, Europe and South Africa. In 2004 and 2005, Lenny and Kanye West were honored recipients of the BMI Songwriters Award for the song “Over Night Celebrity,” recorded by rapper Twista. In the Summer of 2018, Lenny's smooth tones were on display in the song “I Love My Momma,” a collaboration with superstar rapper Snoop Dogg, featured on the popular HBO miniseries Sharp Objects. Over the years, he has shared stages with Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, K-Jon, Anthony Hamilton, The Whispers, Rick James, Boney James, Bobby Womack, The Ohio Players, Al Green, Usher and Frankie Beverly and Maze. Lenny has also expanded his multi dimensional career to include acting, starring in several popular stage plays. As an icon of the past and the present, Lenny Williams continues to expand his musical prowess and flex his newly found acting skills. He is sure to continue wowing his fans in the United States and beyond for decades to come. Now a Doctor, since receiving his honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts degree from California State University, Lenny Williams has the right musical prescription to soothe real music lovers. “I’m going to continue to evolve and grow as I learn and experiment lyrically and musically. I’ve been doing this for a long time now and I’ve been watching all of the changes going on in the music business. I have my own label now (Bridle Ridge Records); let me do my thing,” Lenny says. Yes, indeed, music lovers everywhere want him to do those things that he is the musical master of. Like a flowering perennial, prolific soul man Lenny Williams is always prepared for the spotlight that he belongs in.

Bah'Ndong "Chop Chop" Single
#BGCMelody lead artist Bah'Ndong returns on this one just to declare an end to the yummy "food wars" ongoing across most of Africa now. And he does it in music!
First, he declares: #KhatiKhati (a Cameroonian dish of grilled chicken mixed with palm oil and spices, served with fufu and huckleberry spinach) is the indisputable #Winner in his native Cameroon.
Secondly, he says Cameroon does not participate in the silly "Jollof Rice Wars" between Ghana and Nigeria because Cameroon JELLOF RICE has no competitor that comes even close.
And finally, Bah'Ndong proves that the #Amapiano genre blends well with all types of musical genres and tastes. This track will force people to dance while eating and to eat while dancing.

Wyn Starks "Who I Am" Video | @Wynstarks
Black is Golden blends throwback grooves with contemporary moves, nodding not only to Starks' past — including his upbringing in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he sang his first solos in church — but also the innovative sounds he discovered upon relocating to Nashville. Signing a record deal with Curb Records after just six months in town, he began releasing songs that celebrated love, life, and inclusivity, earning nearly 2 million streams for his debut single, 2019's "Circles." From there, his sound deepened to include tracks of justice and racial equality, all while maintaining his unique blend of vintage influences and progressive pop hooks.
Released in 2020, the EP Who I Am showcased an artist whose music as simultaneously personal and universal. One year later, Black is Golden continued that balancing track. The album is both a rallying cry for people of color and an inclusive call to the dance floor for all races, and its broad mix of music — including gospel ballads, rhythmic bangers, soul classics, and dazzling pop anthems — strengthens the album's central message of diversity.

A1 "Big Steppas" Video
November 10, 1992 Antonio L. Cook aka A1TheHookGod was born in Prichard, Alabama.
Raised in a household of 8 kids and the oldest, A1 is now a father of 5. Growing up was just like any other environment around world that had struggle, violence, and poverty. A1 dreamed of playing in the NFL, yet music was always on the back burner. He was around music due to his grandad, aunts, and mother partaking in the church choir.
A1 was shy and looked up to David Ruffin but has his own sound and is a jack of trades. He can go from various music genres and makes all kinds of sounds with his voice. A1 states "when I make music, I always tell stories based on true events in my life and around my daily life. I go off my mood & feelings. How I feel right than & there before I make music allows me to create my own lane, so I can stand out and build my own legacy and show off all the talent I have. I love writing music more than being a artist, I love to learn business and making a change. Don't get it twisted, I have fun and live life with no regrets, making the best out everything I do. I paint art with my music and some may have not see it yet, but soon many will follow my journey." Welcome to the life of a humble savage who also does comedy.

GAMBLETHE GREAT "SHE PRESSURE" VIDEO | @GambleDaGreat1
I’ve open up for many mainstream artists; such as the Migos, Yo Gotti, Young Dro, Rich Homie Quan, and Doe B (R.I.P) I’m a very versatile artist that believes in balancing my craft. If it ain’t got substance with truth it ain’t me. A lot of my music deep because of what I been through and the people around me as well. I’m the voice of the voiceless, a product of my environment, a young cat with an old soul and a messenger of the streets. With my music you can agree or disagree but one thing for sure you gonna relate to me if you real. I come from poverty but I’ll leave in wealth cause my drive and hustle to succeed is different than the next man. When you see grandma washing yo clothes in a sink and hers in a tub that push to succeed hit a lil different. My goal is to be greater than my expectations while being in my own lane because I’m not in competition with no one but myself. I’m my biggest critic second to my family. Before I leave I wanna set a mark that’s almost impossible to conquer, but possible to achieve, because being Gamble The Great is having ya faith tested and being put in the worst situation and overcoming any and every obstacle put in front of you. Believing in ya self when everyone else is in doubt of your journey to achieve whatever they feel is impossible for you to do. Last but not least being the last one standing when everyone else fail to realize that you’re not average, nor just good, but greater than, and that’s me, “Gamble The Great”.

Giles reintroduces himself with timely, moving single ‘Alive’
He even worked as pianist and lead musician on the song “What Does Freedom Mean” for the soundtrack to the Oscar-winning film “Twelve Years a Slave.”
Then he became a father and his focus shifted to being a good provider and dad.
Now, 10 years since his last release hit the shelves, the artist known as Giles is reintroducing himself to the world with his stirring new single “Alive” and a chorus that borrows from the colloquial expression it’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog.
“When I wrote the song it was really a message to myself because I needed the encouragement,” he says. “When you’ve stepped away from your dreams and passions for 10 years, even if you’re doing it for a noble cause like taking care of your family, it’s a mighty blow. I’m trying to step back into the ring and reconnect with my old fans. I needed something in my head to click and that’s what this song was for me.”
As he debated what song to release for his coming back party, war broke out in Ukraine and Giles knew the single had to be “Alive.”
“You are here, you persist, you’re alive,” he sings in the chorus. “Despite fear, you resist, and you thrive.”
“We’re all coming out of a pandemic, we’re all survivors in a sense and there’s war, there’s suffering,” he says.
It’s an impressive debut, with Giles “really spitting” and showcasing his lyricism, songwriting and musical chops. Every bass note plucked, every hi-hat and drum beat – everything is 100 percent him. He composed the song; wrote the hooks, the chorus, the harmonies and engineered the recording, only bringing in a fresh set of ears for mixing and mastering.
“You really get an overdose of what Giles has to say and has to bring musically, sonically,” he says. “This is not my only style but this song encapsulates something that I think is quite unique. A lot of times you have people who excel in one particular area. They might be a fantastic producer but they need a ghostwriter or they’re a fantastic lyricist but they can’t write a song. I have my fingers on the pulse of the music. I’m not just thinking about what bars I’m going to rap, I’m thinking about what keyboard licks I’m going to play and what bass riffs. You get a pure view of my vision.”
He calls it purposeful intention, because Giles wants listeners to hear his raw vision and know that every note was placed intentionally. There are no opportunities for his music or message to get lost in translation.
Placing Giles’ music in a specific genre is a difficult task because he excels in multiple styles. It’s hip hop, it’s indie rock – it’s even been compared to Seal. He studied jazz piano in college at Florida A&M and the fact he was chosen to play piano on a major motion picture soundtrack, curated by John Legend, speaks to his talent.
“Alive” is his first shot, he says, but the gun is fully loaded and Giles is putting fans of indie hip hop and people who resonate with his message on notice that he’s not going anywhere this time.
“My kids are older, I’ve done what I need to do financially to make sure my family is in a good place with or without my recording career,” he says. “Now I’m in a position to take no prisoners and that’s exactly what I intend on doing.”
Giles will release more singles throughout 2022, all sharing the same meticulous planning, and there’s one thing he hopes rings true: as an independent army of one, stack him up against your favorite major artist and their team of writers, producers, and musicians to see who comes out on top and it’s not going to be an easy win for them.
For more, follow Giles on Twitter (Official_Giles), Facebook (OfficialGilesMusic), Instagram (officialgilesmusic) and TikTok (@officialgilesmusic). He can be contacted directly at https://gilesmusic.com
